My time here at college is awesome, california is a lot of fun and hard work. I am really close to finishing my first year of college and I am really discovering my intellectual side. Lately I have had to much information going in and to many ideas to ponder so I am slowly going to start really diving into some subjects I have been thinking about. Being away from my home, katy, family, and close friends I have been almost in a seclusion, and been able to experience a different culture. It is so crazy how liberal california is, its also crazy how much I agree with them too. I have really been getting into my philosophy class and I came across one philosopher Cornel West. His progressive way of thinking has really captured my thought. Just the word progressive sets my mind on a crazy thought pattern of rethinking, changing, and motivates my motivation. I get all giddy sometimes just thinking about my freedom to choose my own beliefs. Too long have I been held back by constraints. In writing these blogs I am going to discover and share the new intellectual me. So if you have read this, and are somewhat interested, I will probably have 3 or 4 blogs posted this weekend, and my goal is to at least do 2 blogs per week.

It is so cool to see you interested in learning and opening your mind to though. I have a great book to challenge you with that you could read this summer. I hope to send you a copy soon.
